Victoria Hutchinson is a Sussex based ceramicist who creates beautiful handcrafted porcelain ceramics for the home.

The forms and finish of her pieces are influenced by the organic forms and patterns found in nature, and the natural effects of time.
She is also influenced by early 20th century objects that mix the elegance of the old Victorian world with a 'make do and mend' approach to homeware - handmade lace, reusable glass bottles, delicate tea cups and vintage fabric. These objects have their own sense of history and also show the natural ageing effects of time.

Victoria combines these elements to create her beautiful objects. For example she uses old lace patterns to embellish her simple gift tags and bell decorations. She uses the intrinsic qualities of porcelain - its translucent nature, the simple whiteness and its fragility. All her work is un-glazed to give the pieces a sense of purity.

All of Victoria's work is slip cast, hand finished and designed to compliment one another, with the attractive feature that no two pieces are exactly alike.
